You have a spirit..........
stock it had a 227hp turbocharged shelby motor and is as fast in 0-60 as a new wrx sti.
was the fastest 4 door car on the american market in 91 and 92 (years it was made)
stock parts
getrag extreme duty a568 5 peed manual trans
garrett t3 turbo
bilet cams
aluminum hydrauilic roller rockers
stainless lifters
chromoly retainers
forged chrome-molybdenum crank and rods
forged aluminum pistons
16v dohc aluminum lotus head
2.5" turbo back exhaust
inconel valves
yes its a spirit, but its a spirit r/t.. theres a huge difernece between a stock spirit at 93hp and a shelby powered / garrett boost r/t model.
saying "its just a spirit" is like saying a 6.4l hemi srt8 charger is "just a charger" when the only model you are familiar with is a the 2.7l v6 charger.
you cant base car on is lowest sub-model, which is what yur doing with my car lulz..
so yes, i started with a performance vehicle. its even marked up on insurance as high performance stock.
my 40psi and methanol injected build i got now doesnt apply cuz i got collector car insurance on it. but, when i had normal insurance on it, before i modded it, it had the markup on it.
insurance wont have a markup on certain models of cars if they dont fit the markup parameters
