I was able to do that with the transfercase but the trans dry weighs about 175lbs w/ converter and there isnt much room for additional help.

Id love to keep it IFS and get some real travel out of it but idk about spending that much $$$ on it to keep it strong enough for crawling and shit

pick one :)

or buy 2 trucks

u can build a decent crawler for cheep

Thats what my crawling buddies say... pick one.

Id love to have a multipurpose rig but it cost $$$$ haha

Most likely going to go the crawling route since its the most straight forward build wise.

this is got a small block chevy to a turbo 400 to a granny tranny to a np200 transfer case with 2.5 ton gmc axles the axles arnt the best but they do there work but if you did 2 trannys you will get super low gears for crawling , the axles i got have like 5.98 gears or whatever

What I mean by straight forward is there are ton of build's already out there for SAS but IFS is pretty limited. If I do the SAS it will be coilover 4link front & rear ;P

Gives it double low go from a turbo 400 auto to a manual granny tranny gives it a super low gear for pulling if you need it
