I can't wait to get my S2k running again....Might do a complete rebuild on the motor. Body is immaculate, motor has a blown headgasket ;/

05, red w/ red/black interior. Some woman owned it but didn't keep on maintenance as far as the motor was concerned, only 25k miles on it, hardly driven. The thing overheated and blew a gasket due to low coolant. The expansion tank got cracked and the bitch just kept driving it. I'm pulling the motor and going to rebuild it if possible, if not I'm going to try to get an F20 out of an AP1 because I high revs. I scored the car for 5k, it's not running and the chick just wanted out of it (her ex-husband got it for her LOL). This spring I'll start taking it apart, for now it sits in the garage.

5k was a great deal!

S2000 is such a great car, but only who owns one knows that feeling.

I had driven a friend's (unmodified engine-wise, coilovers and nice wheels like in the second video of OP post) very clean. Man what an amazing ride. Honda worked some serious magic when they designed this car, it just feels so right, it's essentially a Miata on crack. Very aggressive though; it was absolutely designed for enthusiasts, I had a ball with that car....you sit in it and it just feels...right. His is a removable hard top though, on a nice day he just takes the entire top off and rolls without it, I'm planning on doing that to mine as well, it's going to be a summer ride strictly. After driving his I knew that's what I wanted for my weekend warrior ride and I had started accumulating funds to purchase one...By chance I check various ads online every now and then just to keep up on general prices and see what's out there and happened to stumble upon this one. She wanted 8k, I went with 5k cash in hand, called my buddy who works for a towing company 20 minutes later and flatbedded it out of there. Can't wait to get it on the road but I'm taking my time. I've been doing alot of hours at work and that's been eating into my time quite a bit, hopefully when things cool down by spring I can do work to it, but I'm in no hurry, I usually spend 5 minutes at night just staring at the thing lol.

This is the only 2 liter id buy


That being said, id take a s2k if someone gave me one. Fast back roof and V8 swap would be cool.

Big engine isnt all

i hate the looks of convertibles, altough hard top s2k's look good, the only other one i tolerate is a cadi xlr as long as the top is not down.

So perfect.. D A M N !

Except hard tops for S2000's are expensive as nuts....

I'm pretty sure a carbon top is like 5 grand.
