according to half the comments there its probably shopped.

If it is real I am curious to know how it affects the handling and weight distribution. If I recall correctly an average NA miata is around 52/48 with a LS motor and only 100-200 lbs heavier so it still handles excellently. If the BRZ/FRS does the same than I would love one. Small, well handling car with big power is how its meant to be. Not this tiny little hundred something horses.

What's wrong with the 400 hp turbo brZ from accelerated performance?

Nothing I suppose. I like the idea of a 350 HP motor with plenty of torque thats completely stock. Its a pretty safe bet that a stock LS is going to outlast a boxer making over 100% more power than stock.
Plus wasnt their build pretty costly? You can get an LS for pretty cheap. You can build a fast as hell LS miata for under $10 if you piece it together well. I thought I recalled the numbers for the accelerated performance build being much higher than that.

I thought turbo/ tunes were around 6k. Not entirely sure of the exact amount, there are numerous out for brZ.

Also, it was like over 4 months ago that accelerated first out out their turbo

yeah but at the end of the day your still in a miata lol. Personally I would not go swapping engines on a car thats brand new, unless you know your never gonna sell it.

I imagine a complete swap will be more costly than adding a turbo setup to his stock brz setup, not to mention he wouldn't get ass reamed nearly as hard if he ever were to sell it.

For a pretty cheap price you can take a miata and make a new mustang look slower than a civic.
Not really the best looking car, sure, but its a hell of a performer on the track already. When you add big power like that its a monster.
The reason I like the idea of a BRZ or FRS with an LS1 swap is getting that same supercar-like performance that you can get from an LS miata but with the nice looks of a BRZ.

When someone shows me the same results in a BRZ without sacrificing longevity or a huge cost than im sold.

No you can't lol. And LS1s are now all over 10 years old, aside from GTO motors which are still close. You can't compare that to a new car.
