Ive seen them several places but I cant recall much about them

yeah thats kinda what im looking for, but not at the same time. id rather get a whole drop-in unit cuz im not fond of tearing light assemblies apart cuz of the seals and shit.

which is what you wouldhave to do to get those in / you would have to split the light in two, and put them in from the facing side.

edit: i had to do that for the angle eyes i put in a friends dodge magnum. its a lot of work, and putting the lens units in the house oven to re-seal them can be very tricky...

did some searching and googling and i guess the vht nightshades spray is the best there pretty much is for smoking tail lights cuz u can always sand it back off or make them darker / etc.

i still want diff style tail lights so imma buy something with a nice design / LED prolly, then just vht nightshades the lens to where i want it

yeah well i was thinking of that also but id have no idea what % film to get for them..

id assume you put it on the same as you would do a window, so it wouldnt be hard and might take like 20-30 minutes to do each of them

then theres the problem of making multiple cuts or doing multiple peices cuz the tail lights arnt flat / they curve around the side and over the top.. impossible to so it with one sheet

at least the VHT you can cover the entire lens evenly and make it look smooth and not have to piece it together like you would have to with film

I kinda agree in this case. With my mustang it would be a PITA to apply vinyl due to the different contours and dimensions but with those charger lights it should be pretty simple seeing as its al one smooth surface pretty much. Id spend a few bucks on a roll of tint and try it myself real quick.

Keep original packaging. buy something else next year and sell what you got to egay/craigshit kids. Did this 8 times with headlights on my 92 eclipse :p
