If you are going to fuck with your taillights get some ls1 body lights. The honeycomb looks way better to me. If you like the plasti dip peel it of and do the CETA mod for real.

Not sure what I'm gonna do with the taillights. As far as the CETA mod goes there's no point in actually painting it right now when I'm gonna paint the car soon anyway. Hence the plastidip.

You can get a pretty good finish with a $5 can or flat black spray paint. Cheaper than plastidip as far as I know...

I thought it was hard to plastidip a whole car and get a uniform coat.

The fact that you can peel it off is what makes it better. You can experiment with colors, and if you don't like it you're not stuck.

If you're not experienced in the basic painting principles you might have problems. Using a paint gun is obviously the best choice for an entire car over a can.

You can't remove "real paint" like plastidip. I did this to see if I liked it. I appreciate it, but stop worrying about my wallet.

Looks nice. Let me know about wear and tear on that... My buddy's been contemplating it for the bottom 6-8 inches of his ranger all the way around.
