Not to mention a FMIC generally does nothing more than make the car laggy as fuck. You only really need a FMIC if your making big numbers.

Yeah it KINDA looks like it should be wider... there's enough space even after you cut out the bumper supports; but for the price I bought this vs. the Perrin ($1500); and didn't want too much turbo lag either.
My buddy has the Perrin FMIC and he said it gave him 500RPM lag.

On Stage 2 alone I was at 13.1 quarter mile..... ;)

It's not always all about parts, driver has the biggest influence.

That was also with stock shifter (SPT short throw, whatever). Got a Kartboy with bushings now.

lol, I see way too many STIs with FMICs that don't need it at all. And I find the idea of buying a new car just to void the warranty making the car marginally faster one of the stupidest things you can do. Not to mention doing so with a car that has one of worst track records for new cars around. I wouldn't have even considered buying a new STI when I did if I didn't have a full warranty behind it.

Yeah man it really does suck... I love the rumble but I had to make up for the turbo lag on the front mount.

Equalled everything out for the most part.
