if by shit you mean they penetrated and didnt warp the material around it and i haven't ground them yet, sure

but if you would like i can stack dimes on your face all day or you want crescent moons? i can weld very well, and i would like to see some of your work

edit also for your information it was a 110 welder and i had ran out of gas so i was using flux core

ill find u some pictures of the pretty stuff i have done

Don't worry about it; people around here like to criticize, regardless of the fact that they know fuck all about what they're criticizing.

That TIG work is fucking beautiful, by the way. Little bit of undercut (Did you use filler?), but the welds themselves are A+.

I'm a machinist by trade, but I did a lot of welding in the 5 years I worked at a fab shop. We used to build hydraulics (To go on telescoping booms for hydro-vac trucks), hydraulic tanks, etc. We went through a lot of welders, and I picked up the slack when we didn't have one at the shop. Flux/solid/metal core MIG, and mild steel/aluminum TIG.

updates!

To get the gas tank back in I lifted it in to place with some ratchet straps and this bar on 2 jack stands, worked pretty well, especially since I was working alone.

The hole is sealed! I put a thick bead of silicone around all the edges and used 16 1/2" long sheet metal screws

Got the brake rotors on. I ran into a problem with the calipers. Im using parking brake calipers and I ordered remaned calipers from the zone, but they didnt come with the parking brake actuating arm and bracket or the brake pad retaining clips. I tried forever to source these parts locally and ended up ordering calipers complete with all the parts from TSM and I will return the other ones to the zone.

Welded on shock tabs

And finally got it back on all 4's and out of the garage. It sits perfectly level with the 30" tall rear tires so it will be about 3" higher with my 37's on it... I'm probably going to need a shorter rear shackle, but if I shorten it too much the pinion angle wont be right and Ill have to re-perch it again which would really piss me off. I guess we'll see...
