If you think about it, stock GT's really arnt incredibly fast.... even more so in the 96-99( or 98) models

I was thinking the Mustang would be alittle faster, but after looking at it again it looks pretty neck and neck, and its all driver that decides it.

But yeah the Cobras destroy it. Then theres things like the new SHO as well which will beat the GTO without issue.

well not without issue

a stock 2006 GTO can run high 12's with the right driver, the ford Taurus SHO can run about the same

but the Taurus show is also TT

ford doesnt care about their 2v engines.



if you're going to do any SOHC ford motor thats EFI, get the 5.4L 3v and put a supercharger on it.

the GTO is coming factory with 400 hp and 400 ft/tq GTs don't come close to those numbers stock

the GT is about 300LBs lighter than my car, but my extra power makes up for it, Plus i can drop 300LBs on the GTO Ez

Some of the Mods ive done to the GTO and planning on doing will drop it around 100LBs or more

the skid plate on that fucker wighs 15Lbs ALONE i can take that off and get an aluminum skidplate that wieghts around 5 LBs, a new Hood will drop it around 20 LBs, the exhaust+ headers dropped it around 40 Lbs
if i ever get some nice light wieght Wheels that can drop it atleast 30Lbs new suspension will drop it around 20 Lbs ext..

look into a carbon fiber drift bodykit yo
