Say, when you ordered did Elon Musk Houdini you with the price jump? Or how did that work? The single motor variant was supposed to be $39,000 at launch, think its $61,000 MSRP now. I was fan-boi until the price hike into luxury toy segment of the market.


Personally, I think its badass, but these Electric vehicles don't fair well in my climate zone. And its not a Truck in the sense that a laborer or farmer would buy that to use it in Truck ways. Its just a rich toy fun Truck to most, with occasional Trucky duties like towing something or uing the massive low end torque.

I don't know if most know this but the overall cost of almost EVERYTHING has gone up quite a bit lately. And even to that if anyone thought he was about to build this thing for 40k they were lying to themselves lol

It is certianly not a farm truck but it was never supposed to be either....It can do everything a truck can do just most won't treat it like crap like your everyday truck. It can tow and haul just like all the others out there.

A regular full sized gas truck can tow 8,000 lbs for well over 300 miles. The Cyber truck? 125 miles.

Electric Vehicles should remain as town commuter cars.

Wait till it depreciates like all the other ones have heavily in recent years and even dealers offering very low buy back rates for them. Sorry but also The mining of lithium ion batteries has its toll and they are non renewable ;)
