Yes, because thats the only issue you have when going 140+ on a 600cc motorcycle. Obviously you've never done it.

When I tached my bike, I couldnt even lean to change traffic because the front tire felt like it was gliding on air, my helmet was shaking furiously, my hands were numb from vibrations and the handle bars felt like holding onto an Ibeam on the twin towers right after the first jet hit.

When I tached it, my forks were blown :D, since than I've had them rebuilt and got a stabalizer in it.. It doesnt do it anymore, but before I had a damper and a blown front end, it was fucking terrible.
