That color is amazing!

I used a propane torch too actually, it just stays on fire because the material starts burning, took out the centre portion with vice grips, hacksawed the casing and used a screwdriver to carefully pry it out.

I've been working on retrofitting an IS gauge cluster, going well so far. If I do this right, I might even get the MPG/KMPG to work properly with the s13, lol.

well it's been a long while since I posted here last.. New job and all. lol

Got the motor in, looks right at home.

What's been done recently:
Cams have been degree'd. Engine is ready to run and be tuned.
Got water neck and block off plugs fabricated
Ignition is COP now (VE was distributor)
Modified the oil pickup
1000cc injectors mounted on the fuel rail.
Turbo manifolds are being finalized. I picked up a GT35R and I can't decide between that and the 6266.

A bunch of other stuff that I don't remember right now.
