Hahaha! I don't even use the R word around her. I don't want her to get any ideas.

Drive shaft is installed

Also, I flipped around that exhaust hanger in the back so it's no longer visible.

Exhaust is 100% bolted together and tightly tucked to the undercarriage of the car. I'm waiting one last 3 1/4" exhaust clamp for my muffler but that's about it.

Better

I can't wait til I can finally tear into the rear end portion of my car. It's never been touched, as you can obviously see. I'm actively searching for the righ rear, and until I find it, that'll have to wait.

I'm once again waiting on goodies in the mail.

But I've tended to a few smaller odds and ends in the meantime...

-Adjusted throttle linkage
-Finished the exhaust 100% (minus paint)
-Made intercooler brackets

I got something fun this afternoon though!

Now I just need to source out an oven.

And one last shot with the garage door open to see the exhaust.

That's the plan!

Once I source some sort of oven. I'm going to powdercoat EVERYTHING. Nuts, bolts, washers, brackets you name it. This has opened up a whole new realm of possibilities. I'm excited.

I was just about to ask what you were planning on doing for an oven.
Are you planning on just finding a household oven or building/buying a PC specific oven? Any idea what size?
I thought about getting a powder coating setup but never pulled the trigger.
How much do you expect to be spending to get the system up and running?
And do the supplies (powder) cost much?
There are tons of things I want to coat as well.
Car parts, jet ski parts, EVERYTHING!

My plan is something like this.

Search Craigslist for a cheap conventional electric household oven (largest I can find) and I'll either put it in my basement, or possibly in a corner of the garage.

and in the meantime I'm going to use a toaster oven for the smaller parts. I believe/hope I will be able to fit each one of my intercooler piping pieces individually in a toaster oven, I'll just have to do them one at a time.

And the powder is really cheap. Only like 10 bucks or so a bottle. With COUNTLESS color combinations.

I'd say I'll have spent less than 200 dollars to be up an running with a conventional household oven.
