Maybe every 3 months I would say. Depends on the weather it's put through.

You can get a quikdetail bottle for in between waxes.

It depends on what you use. If you use a synthetic polymer sealant like Tech Wax 2.0 they last 6-12 weeks usually. A real Carnauba wax lasts a much shorter amount of time. With a sealant I try to wax my shit every 3 months. The truck is more like every 6 months because that bitch is huge and it turns into an all day thing.

Since your car is black, make sure you look up the proper techniques for waxing a black car so you don't end up swirling the shit out of it.

meguiars DA Polisher FTW.

I use all meguiars stuff, the clay system, ultimate polish, ultimate wax every 6-10 weeks and just wash/quick wax it if it gets too dirty for my liking in between.

this was right after the first time I clayed it

I've finally gotten around to the planning of my 71 nova build. I've had the car about 2 years but it's just sat in a garage. Original idea was a twin turbo SBC (383 most likely) but the more I'm reading and learning about lsx swaps the more I want to try. So now I'm going to be going with an single turbo (maybe twin, we'll see) LQ9 build.

Still have to decide on the specifics of the build, then start planning my suspension set-up. I've also still not decided on a trans, I may use the m-22 I already have to save from buying a T56, but I don't know.

Over the next few weeks I'll be reading a lot of stuff on ls1tech so I can figure out exactly what I want, I like to put my entire build down onto paper before I start.

If I keep it N/A, hoping for maybe 500 or so, 900+ if I boost.

I'll probably turbo it, been wanting to mess around with forced induction, might as well make this my crash course.

500whp is pretty easy on a 6.0. Your biggest decision will be whether you go gen iv square port or stay cathedral port. If you boost it it won't matter.

Yeah, I figured 500 would be fairly easy to obtain. I'm about 75% sure I'm going with at least one turbo, I still have to do a lot of reading. I've never done anything with an ls series engine.
