what do you people use on black wheels to clean them i have allways had chrome untill now and it seems like 5min after i clean them there just covered in break dust again.

Soap

Its the nature of the brake pads unfortunately. My 5th gen dusts up in 50mi. At least black doesn't look dirty.

Whatever came on the car when he got it. I doubt he has done a brake job. My OEM pads from GM are very dusty. They are pretty aggressive for stock pads.

I think EBC makes some high performance pads that are low dust.

EBC and stoptech street pads dont dust as bad. If you spray EBC pads quick enough with just your hose, you wont even need to wipe them. Im not a fan of EBC just because they're not that great as a track pad.

Was on my way to buffalo wild wings today for some beer/wings/fooball. In my rearview at a stoplight about half a mile from the place a yellow c7 appears, he flashes his headlights and I gave him the thumbs up out my window. Turns out he was going to the same place. He parked right by me and I went over and said hi and the dude turned out to be awesome. He spent a few minutes to talk to me, and show me things on the new one and even opened it up for me to check out the inside. And I gotta say I was impressed. Pictures don't do the car justice. His of course was a fully loaded Z51, with some carbon fiber trim. Interior is definitely a huge upgrade from my c6. The funny part was after we parted ways my gf told me she likes mine much better cuz its curvy and not so "sharp". I snapped a close up and one from a distance with both our vettes parked out in no mans land

he said it was his 3rd one, he had an 06 z06 before this one. He didn't say anything about the other one, he was just telling me about the vast differences in the 6 and 7, but not in a "I'm better than you" type way
