I've been in the Air Force for almost 8 years and there are certainly garbage individuals in every branch, and many really do join for the benefits. There are many jobs that don't even deploy so there are really very few differences between a civilian and a military member at that point. The military consists of mostly good people but its not perfect, this year alone there have been 700 sexual assaults reported, higher than last years' 500. So does the fact that someone is a "veteran" make a person selfless and honorable when at the same time they could be under investigation for something like molesting their baby daughter?

We never even came to the conclusion that he was actually in the military. Remember the whole uniform fiasco? That was my point. He has all of those pictures and not one of him in the service.
