Fyi,a bone stock 4.6 can bury the speedo at 150 with no mods. Just would take a little longer.

A little would be an understatement. I have a hard time believing that a bone stock pre 99 4.6 would hit 150. Unless you throw it in neutral and roll it down Mt. Everest...

besides the fact that the top speed on a 4.6 is 130ish?

They're not rated at 147. I've found 135 and 140, nothing higher. These are some of the worst mustangs ever built.
