Lipo and brushless motors leveled the playing field a lot. It's a totally different scene then when I was in it 8-9 years ago.

The cog on those slashes is to much for racing on tracks, they are fun to bash with, and if I just wanted top speed you just change pinion and spur and put the hand would cheater brushless in with the big pack lol

Of my personal experience in the last decade or so with them, by far my favorite engine would be the Losi 454. I've run around 15 of them and find them to break less than others I've used. That's what I'm currently running in my HPI trophy.

yeah i want to pick up an AE sc10 soon..
my 5th scale 2 smoker is just for fuckin around with and tinkerin on... really fun in the desert. thing can take a beating
