I hear ya. There's nothing sexier than pretty fabrication.
Where it matters, I do take the time to make it pretty.
Here's some of my better work. And to add difficulty, this is aluminum, done on a Miller Tig.
From my 240z buildTIG does lay a lot flatter, nicer welds. MIG can actually be pretty difficult to get a nice, clean, splatter free, flat weld.



I'm pretty meticulous, but only on things that matter.
