The GTO/Monaro was built with the LS1 in mind. It was built in Australia and had an LS1 in it for years before they brought it over to the states as the GTO. There is nothing wrong with the block. It is 10 thousand times the engine a B series is. The LS1 wasn't made for the GTO. It was made for the corvette and all of GM's performance lineup. The GTO was built with the LS1 in mind. They stopped using the LS1 in 2005 and went to the LS2. Just like now they are on the LS3. It's an upgrade. Not for reliability, but for more power.

so theres an 89 accord with the carburated 2.0L in it for sale a few miles away, its got the flip head lights and shit

its got 130k on it they want 850 for it

considering it haha

fuel injection was only in the 89 se-i and 86-89 lx-i
