Andy I'm digging that old tri-hull!
Yeah, the unsinkable legend.. 1970 (only 11 years newer than the Lyman. haha) 16/17 Boston Whaler Nauset. They are among some of the most capable boats out there. It's the perfect chase boat for the moth (foiling sailboat). It's also proven to be a great investment. They hold values/appreciate well.
Sucks for passengers though....as the cathedral hull loves to pound and soak passengers. If you know how to drive them in chop you can have some serious fun jumping waves in small craft advisories.
Due to the flooding this year, and high water levels, NY has instituted a 5mph "no wake zone" anywhere 600' or less from shore.
5 mph in a stand up center console makes you feel like a dick.
5 mph, relaxing in the Lyman is what we call "Lyman cruising speed". I also burn less than a 1/4 gallon an hour. It sips gas.
So I pulled the whaler, and swapped the Lyman to the hoist.

I'm going to buy another hoist and build some more docks so I can have both boats available at the same time.
But for now, I can only drive one at a time. So this setup works.
