i think what DOHC is saying is ppl do still boost vtec hondas. yes most non vtec engines have a lower compression which is generally better for boost applications. now u can boost a vtec engine with great success but u most likely are going to have to lower the compression with diff pistons so u would have to open the engine up and they are trickier to tune. most hondas come with forged internals and can handle a decent amount of boost without replacing internals so if u are on a budget and u aren't planing on replacing internals then an engine with a low compression that already has forged internals is a good start.

was a trick question the resistance is the same

because the one is run in parallel the power supply is cut in half thus requiring only half of the resistance to produce the same effect

glad to see that the car audio guru who claims that no one else in this forum has the slightest clue to what they are doing when it comes to audio can't even grasp the simplest of electrical systems

good luck with that system with no power supply bra

if its half how is that still 4...half of 4 is 2..

/facepalm

parallel cuts the power supply in half

12/4 = 3

6/2 = 3

you = idiot

yes i realize this

what you are not comprehending is that parallel does not cut the resistance in half if cuts the power supply in half

you start with 12

you divide by 2

you take the six and run it through 2 ohms of resistance

you come out with 3

how you claim to know electronics and can't grasp this astounds me

do you even know the differences between 8 and 16 gauge wire?

or how about we start with the REALLY basic and you try to explain the difference between A/C and D/C power supply

I dont give a fuck about AC and DC. I dont care about non car audio electronics. I know that DC powers most handheld electronics though.

And when you hook 2 8 ohm subs up in a parallel, if does cut it in half and make it 4 ohms to the amp.

that is because you are applying the ohms before the split and not after the placement means everything

and you really should care about A/C and D/C cuz one of these days your gonna kill yourself thinking you know what you are doing

oh yea and 8g vs 16g, 8 is obviously bigger. allows more current through it.

i use 0/1 tho.

lol do you know the relevant difference in using them?

or why there are even different sizes?

I love how you claimed that I knew nothing about electronics yet it is becoming ever so obvious that you don't know shit that you can't read off the side of your sub box
