Any new pics?

Nothing worth sharing. Once I get something interesting I'll share for sure.

Blizzard is upon us. No better excuse than to start a fire and install my brake booster.

Old and busted.

Next step. Confirm pushrod adjustment, then bench bleed and install this mofo

Hopefully this one doesn't let me down. C'mon baby.

Are you gonna worry about the orangepeel, or no?

Just curious

hahaha

Yeah, was not fun. Light blue metallics are notoriously some of the hardest paints to spray. Spraying the cockpit is not going to be pleasant.

Thanks, everyone seems to have a similar reaction to the color. I haven't heard a negative comment yet.. The whole boat will be getting a cut and buff, once it is fully assembled. The orange peel actually gives you a little bit of resistance whilst working in and around the boat, on the hard. Once we are done fucking with that, then we break out the chemical guy's.

Bench bled the master

Installed...

Tomorrow I will check for leaks, and jack the car up in preparation for bleeding the system again.

Then I'll spend a couple days under the car dialing suspension/alignment settings, installing CVs, filling the diff, etc.....

Then If I've made it that far successfully, then we go about plugging the computer in and see what it does.

C'mon brakes...no leaks.

I hate this phase of a car build. The part where the only thing running through your mind is "No whammies, no whammies."

Pretty much. Everyone thinks it's the actual build process that nickle and dimes you. Once you get it back together is when it starts to bend you over. It'll always be something. Usually cheap and a very big pain in the ass to get to.
