while similar in appearance the main point of the b2 is stealth...the ho229 however barely had any effect of radar signature.

i remember watching the documentary where they rebuilt one for testing...its hard to say if the stealth benefits where accidental or not though.

doesnt matter they were using the flying wing before the b2. that would be like comparing the stealth capabilities of the f86 sabre vs the f22 raptor.

northrop had flying wing aircraft as well. they weren't jet powered but still flying wing design.

the real draw about that air craft for most people is the link to stealth fighter research.
