So, I took the C6 down from NJ into historic VA this week on its first serious road trip and I am impressed. I got silly highway MPG (I forgot to set ithe trip odometer to check but it had to be close to that mythical 30 mpg number) and cruising with the roof of for that long was awesome.  It was incredibly comfortable for the whole ride and I fit mine/my gf's suitcases/bags (and all the stuff she bought while down there...) in the hatch WITH THE ROOF with no issues.  Not to mention the heads it turned in VA, apparently not alot of sports cars down there.  I felt like it got as much attention down tehre as a Ferrari would get around here, pretty weird.  I was able to get a pretty good picture along the colonial parkway

please get that license plate removed and slap it on your dash, it kills the aggressiveness of the car.

but still, love it :)

yeah i know, when I saw the pic I was like damn I should have taken the plate off first. I have the removable mount where its just 2 wing nuts that come off in seconds. But the pic was spur of the moment, we parked to check something out and my gf was like check this out, take a pic of this, and look at this, and I turned around and was like oooh, now thats a pic I want and snapped it with my phone real quick.

so cal has got to be the perfect place for a c6. Aside from the past couple weeks the weather around here has been brutal. It was either 90+ and disgustingly humid or thunderstorming non-stop for like a month straight.

It's been a bit rainy here, but it hasn't mattered to me... It's nice out right now though. Hopefully it's this nice tomorrow so I can go for a cruise.

Oh wow, smoke coming from the back. From watching on youtube you'd think it could only smoke the clutch :p

All good fun. Those rims still disgust me though.
