The AEM uses a calibrated resistor instead of fresh air calibration. It is a set it and forget it device but lacks the accuracy of some others. Which sensor did yours come with? The LS2 4.2 is the old style. I have used the AEM and recommend it to people that I tune cars for due to it's simplicity and aesthetics. I've never had an issue.
Yeah, going from the Innovate stuff, which is supposedly the most accurate "in the world" *Clarkson voice*, I was never too thrilled with how cheap it felt. It bragged about having two separate outputs for clean, RFI free, signals to the ECU and gauge separately, however one of those outputs never worked on mine. So from the start I was fighting it. I'm pleased with the ease of install the AEM offers. I mean shit, I want to throw one in all of my cars. Two wires. Two freaking wires.
Injectors happened this evening.
out with the old, unknown conditions; in with the new flow matched RCs.

soooo dusty.....drives me nuts.

And I'm getting prepped to test Megasquirt again. I need to change my injector impedance settings as the new injectors are high, replacing the low impedance venom counterparts.
Distributor back in. Valve cover and timing is next. Then I can start spinning the motor, and rechecking for spark and fuel.

Then my brake vacuum booster..The remaining fittings arrived today, so I can go ahead and start that nonsense.
