Never been a fan personally, but after working in the wrap industry, I gotta give him props for it being REAL CF.
Yeah, believe it or not, unlike most, I use this material for its intended purpose - weight savings. That said, I do enjoy looking at it, but I'll honestly say the aesthetic appeal is only about 10-20% of my motivation. The reason a lot of my stuff is exposed, is simply because the way I produce these parts, they come out of the mold ready to use. No need to add extra weight of liquid coatings. Simply trim, and install. Another reason why I leave my carbon naked for the most part, is also because this car is also a demonstration as to what I can do for potential clients.
Long story short: I like how it looks, I LOVE what it does.

You should get a mpi wheel, there #1
It was either Momo or Nardi. Max Papis does make a nice wheel though...

I thought ya had an old school wood steering wheel?
adding my .02.....which is worth two cents. lol
Less carbon. add wood trim. * even if its just wood steering wheel and trim pieces, like around the gauges, vents, etc.
Just imo- trim that's a dark red stain (on wood) with the carbon fiber sounds sexy to me. Add some detailed stained wood pieces to your carbon fiber. Find some awesome old school rivet wood steering wheel.
No worries, all comments and criticisms are welcomed. And yes, I do have the original (albeit they are faux) wood wheel. I will swap around, as my mood changes. However, I am running a mahogany shift knob. I agree, I really like wood as well. But, as I explained above, I use carbon because simply it is the lightest material that I can make these parts from. Given my skill set, it makes the most sense. I'm trying to keep this car as race oriented as possible. The only creature comforts I've kept are the underhood light, and my factory heat. Everything else is Function over form, with an emphasis on ease of maintenance. Good thought though, I almost ended up with a Nardi wood wheel. I appreciate the input.

More progress....
Drilling holes in virgin carbon.
Proportioning valve hole

I'm going to eventually make a little shift boot for the valve body.
