the only "performance" police cars most use are HIGHLY souped up and usually just show cars and 1/4 mile runners

the PD where i went to school had a very nice camaro just decked out under the hood...the thing sounded amazing

then again, one of the teachers at our HS has like a 70-something boss mustang, absolutly beautiful

What I mean is, the PD here uses the base Crown Victoria PI's




Nothing more. Why not get a Mustang GT with a turbo slapped on it and use it for special things, like super high speed chases......then again, I don't live in Southern California, and everyone here in my town owns a piece of shit car

but i so rarely see cops on the freeways, i can bomb around and never get pulled over, i get flashed by the fucking speed cameras like no tomorrow...ive gotten like 4-5 tickets to date and never paid a 1

There are a few bikes in my area...but they only use them in late spring to early fall, that's if we have unusually early/late seasons (Spring/Fall)

cept for THIS YEAR its usually dry as hell around here, so they use em all the time


i imagine the sideline em right now, cause its monsoon season and a particularly wet one at that
