I proved to Alpine that their amps are shit. I hooked up my old Alpine Type R's up @ 1 ohm (rater 1k total rms, same as the amp) and fried the amp. Called them up and they were like "Oh you shouldnt have hooked it up @ 1 ohm, now your warranty is voided."

Rofl, any amp that isnt 1 ohm stable is compelte shit.
