To say the tuner thinks it will make 1k wheel, you think it will make 800 wheel, then say "maybe it will make 600 which is still plenty" sounds like back pedaling to me. A 600whp build and an 800whp build are 2 completely different cars. If you shoot for 800 and you hit 600 you fucked up bad. I'd also feel like a rape victim if I bought and paid for a Haltech ECU install to make 600whp.

Your tuner needs his head checked if he really mentioned 1000whp. Most likely you made that shit up, but still...

A reliable 800whp build usually costs 1.5x a 600whp built and a 1000whp build is 1.5x that. Have you done any planning or are you doing what someone tells you to do?

Ok man think what you want. We'll see by mid next year what my numbers are. I also didnt even come close to listing all my planned mods or that the turbine on the disco potatoes will be swapped out. My dude knows what hes talking about when it comes to this. I dedinitely feel like hes getting ahead of himself with 1k but still. Hes built and tuned more VG motors than pretty much anyone.

You don't have the knowledge to back up your bravado. If you did you wouldn't have said half of what you did in here. Those turbos are just as limited on the compressor housing as they are on the turbine. If you were really going for 800+ you would have used the GTX version of that turbo. The junk you are using is old tech. But hey, it's not like I have any experience with this shit, I'm just a peon.

Few reasons.

Im a Ford fanboy so i don't think i could ever justify putting a Chevy engine in anything. I would definitely drop a Coyote in there but im just not interested in paying someone for that one off job. Nor in the rest of the headaches that would follow that build.


Also Im good personal friends with many people in the z32 community and theyre mostly purists and i don't want that headach either lol
