I have a full Invidia setup on mine. Invidia Q300 quad tip (2011 STI though) and Catless-divorced downpipe.

Sounds amazing as all hell when I gun it, and there's no highway drone /or/ it's very tolerable.

here in Quebec, if you dont have the original exhaust anymore, and that it makes more noise than stock, its considered illegal...

what pisses me off is that a stock v8 car, with stock exhaust, making 3 times more noise than my wrx, is legal.

Damn, I got pulled over about 8 months ago for loud exhaust and got a 72 hour time/warning to take it off and put original one.

I never did it but never got pulled over again yet.

The fine isn't that bad, just trying to sell your muffler and buying a new one and install etc is a hassle

My "mufflers" are pretty much straight pipes. Im probably about to get rid of my cats too. Idk though, that might be a bit too loud (not for me, but I live in an apartment and dont want to be a dick)
Cams down the road a bit depending on what other vehicle I buy soon.




There are plenty of laws, they just arent enforced that much. But it does happen. My setup is fairly quiet once the car is warmed up if you keep it under 2-3k so its not a big deal.

Shit I drove to and from the track with open headers a couple of times and didn't put the exhaust back on until a few days later. No problems.
