To make some of these of these jealous jspers, like yourself, jealous.
too bad you are not allowed to drive 250 km/h in america ^^. Well, i watched an interesting comparison by Tim Schrick: He compared the original E30 M3 made in the 80's and this thing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD6GpSZIyVs (sry, it's in german)
Turns out that the old M3 still rocks and is still a very nice car when driven correctly.
Old M3:
50:50 weight distribution
1165–1360 kg
199 horsepower
manual gear shift (makes it easier to shift between 2 and 3)
So this actually a very easy to handle car, homologation vehicle for DTM-Racing Series. M = Motorsport
BMW M3 E90/E92/E93:
5x:4x weight distribution
1655–1885 kg
420 horsepower
automatic (Doppelkupplungsgetriebe)
What Tim Schrick says about this car: Heavy as fuck. Never turn the traction control off. good luck drifting with this fat thing. Just put a V8 into a regular 3series limousine. Not to say it's a bad car. It's just not worth the money one has to pay for that fat thing. It doesnt even have transaxle which is unacceptable for this kind of car. M = Marketing
And if I could afford a car like this I would definitely buy a real sports car like a Corvette C6 or a nissan GT-R (at least those cars have transaxle) before buying this overhyped product of BMW-Marketing.
