ok .... test drove a 1968 ford mustang with a 396 big block or something at a used car dealer ship

they wanted 19,000 for it but well its speedo said 140 or something thats where it stopped

and then i shifted it to 5th where it went hella faster so i dont know ... i wish i had 19,000 dollars

i offered 8,000 down and high payments like 300 to 350 so i could get it but they said something about it being a classic that they would need all up front ( best one to do they said )
or 10,000 down with less than 1 year of payments

um, if that thing had a 5-speed then it wasnt stock

stock, pretty sure, 3 speed manual, 4 speed automatic

The auto is a 3 speed and the "performance" manual was a 4 speed.

Most cars didn't see a 5 speed until the late 70's early 80's when fuel prices skyrocketed.
