Theres not really a clear cut line between grown and not grown imo.

The consistency of an automatic combined with how hard the launch when tuned right would be awesome, but it would just feel wrong for a car like that.
But I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that was sarcasm directed at Sopranos.
The automatics can be tuned to shift HARD and very quickly which is great for drag racing, not to much for a road course.
