How much did you sell the d44 for?

no, I had a solid 44 in there before I put the 60 in, before that was the ttb



I sold the D44 with gears and ARB locker and chromo axles and warn premiums for 975$

The new body wranglers (JK and JKU) came with a RWD model for a few years.
The front axle is almost identical to a 4x4 just with the differential deleted so the swap is a stright bolt on.

The RWD wranglers get pretty cheap compared to the 4x4s. All you need is new drive shafts, transfer case, and the front axle plus some small stuff and its an easy swap from what I read.
Buying a 4x4 would be easier, but a lot of guys/shops that build really heavy duty rigs start with the RWD just because its cheaper and half of the components get replaced for the build anyways.

A lot of the 4x2s are a good 5K cheaper. Plenty of people have done the swap with a take off d30 for around 2k + a day of time.
Ive pretty much decided against it but from what I have read its not a bad idea and you can normally end up with a much stronger setup for the same price as a stock 4x4
