Hey guys. DON'T WORRY I'M STILL ALIVE.

I don't remember if I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but I had a small electrical fire while driving down the highway last summer. Soooo my blinkers didn't work (the back 2- the front 2 weren't even installed). As a temporary fix, my dad put in a similar cluster thingy from a 76 ford I think. Or something like that. idk. Anyway now all of my lights work (and the front 2 blinkers are installed), but the lights don't blink. I have to manually blink them hahahahaha.
So i'll be ordering a new piece soonish.

I hope to drive it to the Wisconsin Dells (about 2 hours) for the 4th of july. We'll see if she's ready by then.

Also, in order to get my blinkers to work I replaced the old wires that made contact with the bulb. This is what the old copper looked like.....

Sorry I didn't take more pics. I have a feeling what my dad did with the donor blinker cluster could have been helpful to someone else lol, but I feel awkward documenting his work.

Bummer about the fire. I'm restoring my own 67 coupe as well. Going full custom though. Dream build is 100% classic look interior except radio, custom exterior and everything under the hood as modern as possible. I'll definitely be watching this thread!

Better be a RetroSound Model One for the radio.

That's cool stuff. I didn't know they made stuff like that on a regular basis. I thought I'd have to have something custom. SHWEEEEET
