you're right. I'd be losing too much money if I sold the Z so I'm going to keep it and my SUV and sell the ISF and put that money towards the house

You say anyone buying a sports car needs to be in a position to pay someone (you keep saying the dealer) to do all the maintenance for you. A certain portion of the population does that because 7 or 8k is no big deal to them. Anyone paying that who does think that much money is a big deal is a sheep. Brake pads and rotors are a 1hr job taking your time. Oem front pads are under $900. The back brakes are usually good to 50k miles unless the car is tracked. You can get an OEM equivalent kit for all 4 wheels for right at $2k. I payed about half that for brakes on my truck... You arent the only one who knows a GTR owner. If you are afraid of getting your hands dirty by all means pay 5x as much. Its not always about what you can afford. Doing some of your own work doesn't make you poor. Then again I park my own car.
