mustangs with these mods hit 420 to the wheels all the time, on tons of dynos...
I think "should" is the key word here. On paper, the vette wins, Yes the vette is lighter and has about the same power, but I bet if you lined up ride and sapranos in the quarter and had em race, it would be pretty close. Sapranos has automatic which always trumps manual in the quarter, and traction becomes a huge issue with both cars.
I bet it would be closer than you guys think
This is what you said. This is what I responded to. Besides the fact that you can't spell Sopranos you hit the nail on the head. The key word is should. That was the second word I typed. You cannot bench race drivers. If you spent some time on real car forums you would know that. Drivers are the X factor. What can be debated with some sort of facts and logical thinking is the cars themselves.
Ride has the faster car.
He SHOULD stomp a mudhole in the mustangs ass.
Ergo if he doesn't it's his fault. Make sense? If Sopranos raced my grandmother driving a Top Fuel car she SHOULD stomp a mudhole in his ass. If she doesn't, it's her fault. See how that works? I think this comes down to some of you people not knowing up from down on negotiating a race, bench racing, actual racing, or grudge racing. Hard parkers shouldn't bench race.
