randy pobst is a hell of a driver, if he drove any of those that you listed they would have had a better time. also lets take a look at something else.

the c5 z06 has a 1/4 mile time of 12.5 seconds
the c6 z06 ha s a1/4 mile time of 11.4 seconds
the 911 turbo ha s a 1/4 mile time of 11.6 seconds
the evo x is about a 13 flat

and the brz.... 15second

all these cars are just as fast around the track (faster with a better driver) and has a much better 1/4 mile time. the brz is not a well rounded car, it does 1 thing decently, but if you can get the brz going as fast of a 1/4 mile of any of those cars, its track time will substantially drop.
