Hey thanks! Its always nice when people not only acknowledge the work, but appreciate the detail, which is definitely most time consuming, and planned part of the work.
Thanks for the kind words. Im glad my work is appreciated. Certainly does make this process a whole lot more fun, thats for sure.

More to come

Thanks! And do it! Im having a blast. Not only does cleaning the car make me want to work on it more, but it also makes it soo much easier to work on too. No grabbing oily surfaces, no stuck/ sheared off 40 year old bolts.

Take em out. Clean em up. Never seize, replace. Kiss test. Move on. Haha

Okay. I began cleaning up and repainting my transmission tunnel.

This is roughed out. I'm using Hamerite Rust Encapsulating paint. It's kind of a charcoal gray to a black. I like it. Same stuff I used on my floors last spring.

After a bit of touching up, it'll look pretty good.

Next step: Motor goes back in! .....I think

A much neglected part of many of these cars. That tunnel looks good, and it should slightly help with noise deadening too. Very nice bro.

<3

Finally putting stuff together!

240mm Flywheel

ACT clutch

Pressure Plate

Ignore the "install" valve cover. That's just so I don't damage the blue one.

Tomorrow, if my scheule allows, the motor goes in the car. I was toying around with putting it in tonight, but I'm not feeling the solo install in my current state, I'll wait til I have a helper.

Until then, I'll be watching Westminster. Yeah Boyee!
