you are an idiot, seriously

when you mod somthing to the point of what i did, having alcohol injection isnt even an option, its a must.

the only theoretical way to "fix the problem" according to you would be to return the car to stock.

there is no problem, you run 30+ psi, that compressed air is hot as fuck, - alcohol cools it

with running that much boost, you have to run equivelent fuel, which together, creates a piss ton of compression and when ignited, an assload of heat- alcohol keeps the air/fuel charge from exploding (detonation)
/ vs an even burn

it also prevents preignition, so when yur running that much boost and fuel, it can ignite the charge just off the pressure in the cylinder before the iginitin event, alcohol stops that

and with the alcohol being injected, it helps cool the cylinder head and walls just by contact, and because alcohol "burns  cold" it lowers EGT's by alot... WOT b4 alcohol in my r/t was close to 2000F, with it its around 1300 WOT

heat destroys parts, and without alcohol on a heavily modified engine, you are aloking for alot of problems / short engine lifespan

So much fail here I dont know where to begin.

you realize that it dont make power by itsself right?

its a support mod.....

its used to keep egt's stable, lower intake air temp, and prevent detonation.

its not like nitrous where its a direct power booster

Yes I know this but it's usually the first thing I recommend to do with a turbo'd car just because it helps out ALOT. Allows running for higher psi and yet is safer.

eric is kinda right... I run meth/water at a 50/50 for most of the time. Yes you may run out of alcohol but don't be stupid enough to do a track day without some. I use a 5 gal tank in the trunk of my car that holds the mixture.

It does allow for higher boost and dramatically cools the car. That's why I said it should have been a first modification right after an upgraded turbo.

He uses it 24/7, his car can't run without it. Don't try and defend the fact that him and his butt buddy Jackson can't build cars correctly.

LOL you have to use it 24/7... If my car runs out of alcy/water then it basically shuts down... only downfall to that but it's pretty cheap... near $1/gal if you buy in bulk from most places.

You can ask anyone who uses alcohol injection. They'll tell you the same thing
