in an auto, red line neutral drops for the win

I don't care who you are or what kind of car you're in. Letting it rip from N to D while in the ketchup puts a smile on anybodys face

Autos just get it up to like 2.5-3k while "break boosting" and let her loose.

Manual I rev to about 4k and feather my clutch.

Traction control always off unless you're a girl.

This is a bunch of bullshit because the correct answer is it completely depends on the car. You don't even know what he's driving.

Most modern autos actually 60ft faster if you leave off dead idle and let the converter flash. Just stab the gas when the light turns green. TCS on or off depends on your tires. It will always be faster with it off once you figure it out. Launch RPM for a manual is different for every car/gear/tire combo. Generally speaking hold a little rpm and slowly slip the clutch while adding throttle, hitting full throttle just after you come off the clutch completely.

Nice advice for cars made in 2015.

Meanwhile, my response is correct for a majority of cars.
Thanks for soloing me out though, because literally, everyone else said the same thing.

Thanks for keeping my balls in your mouth, guy. <3

Actually everyone else was either being sarcastic or didn't mention a specific RPM. He could be driving a diesel that won't even rev to 4k. Also any V8 auto isn't going to footbrake anywhere close to 3k with a stock converter.

You're wrong, suck it up and deal with it you whiny bitch.

I'm obsessed because I pointed out that you were giving out false information.

K. That doesn't sound narcissistic or self absorbed at all.

Depends on everything :D

But you need to learn how your car accelerate and when it's loosing traction, a good combo of both ;)

Its always faster not to spin the wheels, but also harder for the transmission.

Also flat shifting from 1-2 is were you can catch some time on alot of stock cars xD (Hold the speeder, quick push the clutch and fast pull the gearlever, without letting go of the speeder)
Some cars will "jump" when shifting too fast

and if you car pulls from 2000-4000 (TDI for example) you don't have to rev it over 4000rpm before shifting gear (you will lose power after 4000 and its better to shift gear)

ALWAYS traction off (unless it's a supercar build for racing) Because if you start, and the car start to spin it will reduce power (Much faster/smoother to let go of the speeder and re engage)

On an Auto Transmission, find a good rev to launch at, put it in D, hold the brake, rev it (to the sweet spot) and then just floor it...

It wasn't false information, you're just obsessed with me.

Should find a different hobby other than cars, it's obviously not taking up enough of your time.
