That's the mechanic's doing, in my eyes take the heads off, glob a bunch of RTV on that bitch and run it, but he has these ideas that we are going to run 220hp and "win the race"

But hey, my buddy is paying for the motor and work being done, and all the mechanics work is free, so why should I complain?

ugh, and now we need custom headers because they are the only ones that will work with this setup, lovely (and another $200 the group has to foot the bill for)

I am a little peeved, because we are already pushing what little budget we have left and still have no suspension components or skid plates.....

On the plus side, wrx midpipe and muffler assembly for $40....

Took the (somewhat rusted) steelie rims with the snow tires, wire brushed and steel wooled the worst of it off, then hit it with rust reformer for a couple coats

Then painted them all up in gold, definitely a 5-foot paint job but whatever

Got a couple blisters pulling out all the studs

Had em rebalanced and they are ready to go on the car



I also finished doing a Thomas the Tank Engine decoupage on the LF fender, pretty much did a shit job and then lots of coats of clearcoat with some glow powder in it, pretty sick
