Towing capacity is only one factor when towing.
The Z71 is a terrible off-road package and GMC/Chevy doesn't really have a model for off-roading.

I'm done. If you want to buy a brand new truck and go offloading you don't need our help to make a bad decision.

You missed what I was saying completely. If you are going to buy a brand new truck and your main criteria is offroad capability you are beyond our ability to help. There are about a million better options than overpaying for OEM offroad capability.

Daily Driving, Off-Roading, Towing
Both the TRD Pro and Rebel are cheaper than a fully loaded Silverado Z71

And there is a reason for that. Have fun with whichever you choose.

Their resale value is sub-par too. There's probably a reason for that.

Resale value on a 1/2 ton truck? Flip a coin. They all are horrible.

Also, the rebel is a mid tier trim truck. There's a reason it's cheaper than the longhorns and limited.

Where I live the gm and Ford trucks command the highest resale value and it's not even close. The only dodge that holds any value is a diesel.

I have no patience for people that make polls or ask for advice when they have already made up their mind. This is the only site I frequent that has this issue and it's been that way for years. Just a bunch of askholes... So yes, guilty as charged.

Tundra/Tacoma aren't bad.
