e36's are fairly reliable. The only thing you really need to worry about is the cooling system. But they have whole kits to solve the issue.

That is a good choice too. If wanting a 4 banger convertible.

Suppose we should have asked first. lol

Very well possible parts will be less expensive for you, if close to Germany.

I've been driving around a '96 MB E320 that was my grandparent's (given by my uncle back in the early 2000's)

I'm very much used to FWD and using the rudimentary traction control to pull through corners with em, having a bit of an adjustment to the more squirrely benz RWD

Its ridiculously nice and for a 6cylinder it has some pep, I bet with a turbo it would really kick

It's basically worthless but overall the car is like 9/10 for condition and its got like 66k miles on it O.o

replaced the thermostat ($16) and doing all new ceramic pads and sensors next week (all of $35 in parts)

Hoping it becomes mine permanently lol

Stop buying cheap parts. You gonna hate yourself in the long run.

Not cheap parts, just open box...they are Wagner ceramic all around, would have cost like $60 but buying open box each set was like 30% of the price
