Ive got a full set of sunex impacts and have never had any issues with them. If used them plenty for u joints as well as their regular uses

I've never broken one if it was used on the correct size drive and didn't have a cheater on it.

and other times, just giving it all the business.

the last one i can remember doing was a pinion/yoke (what ever you want to call it) nut and it just came apart, was a shame, was one of my favorite press sockets lol

Are you using a 1"? We have 1 1/2" impacts on a cart at work that the operators use to open railcar hopper gates. They are IR., and they are bad sumbitches. An ARP crank bolt on an LSX takes 240lb/ft. That's by far the highest torque any of my stuff will see for install.

no, I'm using a 3/4 and a 1/2 impact and I have broke. A lot of sockets on it

Pittsburgh, craftsman, and snap on have been broken on my 1/2

Haven't broke any 3/4 or any 1" just a lot of 1/2 and like a 3/8

Speaking of breaking shit I wouldn't mind finding a reducer that's worth a fuck

i only got a couple 3/4 that are very common shop has the rest

I wanna get a full set one day but that can wait

And my 3/4 keeps breaking the reducers I've tried a couple different brands, if I turn it down a little it's fine but on full blast it breaks reducers, I think a lot has to do with the insane air compressor, Bc at my old job I didn't break near as much stuff
