Corvettes hold up to high mileage far better than most cars due to the fact that they are almost completely aluminum, composite, or fiberglass. Rust and corrosion are a non-issue. The entire car is designed to be raced so they really last a long time if they are daily driven. Certain things are also very easy to replace for the same reason. I can replace all of the suspension except for the leaf springs on my C5 in an afternoon.

The whole car is designed to come apart pretty damn easy because racecar.

Yep. Unless you are seriously tracking the car and need to change spring rate or you go full on drag car the leaf does great.
