Just like any used car, it depends how it was treated by the previous owner.

If the trans doesn't grind (manual) or slip (auto), the rear is quiet, and it makes good oil pressure the rest is cosmetic.

A new challenger appeared, but I will not stoop to his level. He knows where he stands :)

You've already stooped far lower than possible by bringing financial standing into your internet arguments

We really don't know much about the C7 platform and high mileage yet. They've only been around for 2 years. Corvettes have always had very well built differentials so I don't see them regressing from the C6. The verdict is still out on long term issues for all of the Gen V engines since they are a completely different animal with the direct injection.

Corvettes hold up to high mileage far better than most cars due to the fact that they are almost completely aluminum, composite, or fiberglass. Rust and corrosion are a non-issue. The entire car is designed to be raced so they really last a long time if they are daily driven. Certain things are also very easy to replace for the same reason. I can replace all of the suspension except for the leaf springs on my C5 in an afternoon.

Even the leaf springs don't really take that long, we put springs back on my C5 with shitty tools in a driveway in an hour.

Yeah I haven't had to pull mine so I omitted that time. It's only like 4 or 8 bolts per spring.

The whole car is designed to come apart pretty damn easy because racecar.

Until you need to install longtubes or drop the transmission, then the car throws you a big fuck you.

I've been trying to stay out of it, but you really need to get over yourself lol. This isn't the place for you to get attention.

My 2" new design kooks headers come out in 30 minutes and pop right back in place. The car has to be at least 18" high in the front and bang no problem. The old design kooks weren't so easy...

Yep. Unless you are seriously tracking the car and need to change spring rate or you go full on drag car the leaf does great.
