I own a 135i FBO, can help with any questions about bmw. Personally idk how you even compare the ats and the 335 handling only a "little" better the caddy feels like a damn boat.

what press twice are you talking about? the only thing I can think of the is the door and you can easily code that out.

not really, the ats handling felt pretty good, and yes the bmw was barely better, and that just might have seemed better because it was a little faster.

@jimmy

i didnt really spend much time with the cue or idrive systems so i cant compare them, but ive heard mixed reviews on both so idk.

@FMX ive been trying to find stuff for the ats, i found vermont tuning, but that was about it. like pfadt and zztuning didnt have much of anything on their site, so i wasnt sure if they still offered their upgrade packages

So like I said a while back I'm getting a new car (next week)

I test drove a 2013 Cadillac ats 2.0T, has 18k miles for 22k.
-this car is very comfy, it has some decent power, but it's not a car you feel like driving fast. Also there's a decent amount of turbo lag

I also test drove a 2013 BMW 335i xdrive coupe with M sport package, 50k miles for 27k
-the interior felt cheaper than the caddy, it felt like I was sitting high up too. On the plus, it's much funner to drive than the caddy and the steering felt a little sharper. There was some turbo lag, but not as much as the caddy.

I'm going to go check out a 2012 audi s4 with 48k miles and $29k today sometime.

Have any of you had experience with the caddy or bmw?

I haven't had long term experience with either, but my buddy has a 335ix and loves it, I've driven it too and like it a lot (interior included). I had a ATS loaner for 3 weeks while my other car was in the shop, so I'd say I have a good feel for it.

I like the BMW more.

ATS would be cheaper to have repairs done. Always go with what you like.

There might not be a lot of advertisement because the market is small. It's supported by hptuners so someone somewhere tunes them. I know Trifecta does the 1.4L cars.

You can't really compare an ATS to a 335i or an S4, the right comparison would be a 328i or an A4. My father has a bolt ons 335xi and a coworker has an S4 with a pulley. I'd rather the S4 overall.

im not really comparing them in the sense of which one is better.

the bmw is obviously the better car, but its also $5,000 more and maintenance/repairs are also more expensive. its more like do i want to spend the extra on the bmw, or will i enjoy the Cadillac enough coming from a GTO.
