Could it have anything to do with an Idle Air Bypass?

Really torn between that and a CPS.

go buy a idle air control valve and replace the one on your car. if 30 bucks is the difference between you eating this week and not then google how to test the idle air control valve to see if its working. sooner or later you are going to have to either test or replace parts whichever you prefer we cant do it for you.
