Ive driven the i4 and owned a i6 .. the i4s are not enjoyable to drive at all, and the fuel milage is the same.
i4 in a car and i4 in a lunch box on wheels are different also, even wind blowing against you will slow you down

Lol maybe I'll keep my eyes peeled for a 6. The thing is that keep resale value is so high I can probably "test drive" it and sell it for what I paid if I don't like it after a few months.

It's a 2.5 4 banger. I don't mind the loss of power as I probably won't mud at all in it. Honestly...i kind of want something I can just play around on.

/e all show no go.....probably.

Buy the jeep and put a 6bt 5.9l cummins in it.
Scratch the 31's, and toss dana 60's in front and rear and 4.88 maybe 5.13 gears, some 40'' tires(beadlocked ofc) , and some arb lockers while your at it.

This will be fun to play around on imo .. could probably get the front tires off the ground on pavement.

Okay, so I've done a ton of research and test drives. You guys are pretty much bang on about the jeep stuff. That being said...this dude is going to sell me the pictured Wrangler for 2,200.

130,000
4cyl
no hard top
4x works well
Automatic :(

I plan on having my mechanic look at it to see if he's hiding something, but the price seems stupid low.

Any thoughts

/e soft top is included with full doors

Don't lift a 4 banger automatic Jeep. You'll get passed by kids riding 10 speeds.

4bt swap is pretty much bolt in these days. There are 4 or 5 companies out there making the kits.

what would the kit even include? the 4bt is a beyond simple swap

Motor/trans mounts would be a guess. Yes, I think mid 20's in a lifted jeep is pretty common. Depends on how you tune it though.
